About the League
The Game
Has Changed
The South African Indoor Archery Super League (SAIASL) is a high-octane, spectator-centric reimagining of professional archery — taking a traditionally quiet sport and placing it under Friday night lights.
Launching at Bowtime, Brackenfell, the league features 6 Western Cape franchises battling in a fast-paced arena format. A grueling 15-second shot clock, vocal team dugouts, a live DJ, and multi-camera impact replays make every arrow count.
Drawing from India's Archery Premier League and the T20 cricket playbook, SAIASL is built for a digital-first, premium demographic — and designed for national television. The Western Cape pilot is the blueprint for a full national rollout.
